Midnight is approaching. Are we ready for what happens when the clock strikes twelve?

The Distractions of Babylon’s Ball
Revelation 18 warns us that Babylon—the symbol of the corrupt world system under Satan’s control—is offering a dangerous wine that keeps people spiritually drunk and unaware of the times we are living in.

"Come out of her, my people..." (Revelation 18:4)

But what is the wine of Babylon that is keeping us so distracted?
1. Love of Self (2 Timothy 3:2)
Selfishness is at an all-time high. Social media fuels narcissism, entitlement, and comparison, leading people away from humility and service. Instead of being Christ-centered, many have become self-centered.
2. Love of Money (2 Timothy 3:2)
Materialism is consuming the world. People chase success, careers, and wealth, forgetting that everything on this earth is temporary. Jesus warned: “What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, but loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:36)
3. Pleasure Over God (2 Timothy 3:4)
Entertainment, sports, social media, and worldly pleasures have replaced devotion to God. Churches are empty, but stadiums are full. Many prioritize vacations, concerts, and hobbies over spending time with Jesus.
4. Spiritual Apathy (2 Timothy 3:5)
Paul warned of people “having a form of godliness but denying its power.” Many claim to be Christian but lack a true, living relationship with Jesus. They go through the motions but are not spiritually awake.

Midnight is Coming
"At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet Him!’" (Matthew 25:6)
Jesus compared His return to a midnight cry, catching the world by surprise. Those who were spiritually awake were ready—but those who had been distracted were left out.
The Great Controversy (p. 636) tells us:
"At midnight, God will manifest His power for the deliverance of His people, and the voice of God will announce from heaven, 'It is done.'"
For many, midnight will come too late—because they lingered too long at the ball.

How to Leave Babylon’s Ball Before It’s Too Late

Wake Up! – Recognize the times we are living in. Jesus is coming soon!

Come Out of Babylon – Stop compromising. Stand firm in God’s truth and righteousness.

Stay Watchful in Prayer – Don’t let distractions steal your relationship with Christ.

Study the Word Daily – The Bible is your protection against Satan’s deception.

Share the Warning Message – Help others hear the midnight cry before it’s too late.

Are You Ignoring the Clock?
In the fairy tale, Cinderella ran out of time. She was so caught up in the moment that she ignored the warning—until it was too late.

Sadly, many are doing the same thing with their salvation.
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” – Proverbs 14:12

The time to leave Babylon is now. The final moments of this world’s history are unfolding before our eyes. Don’t wait until the midnight cry to realize you’re not ready.
Will you be awake when Jesus returns? Or will you be caught lingering at the ball?

Take Action Today!
Surrender fully to Jesus and let Him wake you up.
Step out of Babylon’s distractions and focus on eternity.
Warn others that time is running out!

"Behold, I am coming quickly!" – Revelation 22:12

We see it in sports, relationships, careers, and personal goals. But what about spiritual passion?
Does our desire for God match the passion we have for other pursuits?

Passion Begins with God
Passion originates from God. The Bible repeatedly describes God’s intense love for us—a love that is unwavering, sacrificial, and eternal.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” – Jeremiah 31:3

The sanctuary is the ultimate expression of God’s passion for humanity. From the sacrifices to the Day of Atonement, every element reveals His deep desire to restore us.

A Meeting Place of Passion
The sanctuary was God’s tryst with His people—a prearranged meeting place where divine love and human response intersect.

“So I spread My wing over you… I entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine.” – Ezekiel 16:8

God longs for intimacy with His people. He desires a love relationship—not a superficial belief, but a deep, consuming passion for Him.

How Do We Fuel Our Spiritual Passion?
In Leviticus 16, the Israelites were called to respond to God’s presence in the sanctuary through five key actions. These same principles help fuel our spiritual passion today:
1. Gather in Worship – “Do not forsake assembling together.” (Hebrews 10:25)

Just like Israel gathered at the sanctuary, corporate worship strengthens faith.

If Jesus made it His custom to worship weekly (Luke 4:16), so should we!

2. Focus on Jesus as Our High Priest – “Christ appears in heaven for us.” (Hebrews 9:24)

The sanctuary service pointed to Jesus. Are we fixing our eyes on Him?

A deeper study of Christ’s heavenly ministry fuels passion.

3. Rest in God’s Work – “Do no work.” (Leviticus 16:29)

Spiritual passion grows when we stop striving in our own strength and rely on God.

Are you resting in His grace or trying to earn salvation?

4. Humble Yourself Before God – “Afflict your souls.” (Leviticus 16:29)

True passion for God comes from recognizing our need for Him.

Pride kills passion. Humility revives it.

5. Engage in Spiritual Cleansing – “Be cleansed from all your sins.” (Leviticus 16:30)

Confession and repentance renew our passion for God.

We cannot be passionate about God if we are holding onto sin.

What’s Keeping You from Passion?
C.S. Lewis once said:
“We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered to us.”

Many lose passion for God because they settle for lesser things. We chase temporary pleasures, while God offers us eternal joy.

But here’s the good news: God is still inviting you to meet Him.

The Ultimate Tryst: Our Final Meeting with God
One day, God’s tryst with His people will be fully realized. Revelation 21:2 describes the New Jerusalem as a bride adorned for her husband—the final reunion between God and His people.

Are you preparing for that day? Is your heart still on fire for Jesus?

Take Action Today
Reignite your passion for God by prioritizing worship.
Fix your eyes on Jesus’ ministry in the heavenly sanctuary.
Stop striving—rest in His work of salvation.
Humble yourself before God and remove spiritual distractions.
Engage in spiritual cleansing and renewal.

“Those who eagerly wait for Him, He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” – Hebrews 9:28

God’s sanctuary is an invitation to intimacy. He is waiting to meet you. Will you show up?

It shapes how we think, how we love, and how we believe. Whether we realize it or not, our mothers leave a legacy—good or bad—that follows us through life.

A Mother’s Influence is Unmatched
NBA star Kevin Durant, in his 2014 MVP speech, recognized his mother as the real MVP, thanking her for sacrificing everything to give him a future. She didn’t know if her hard work would pay off, but she did it anyway. That’s what mothers do. They invest in their children without knowing what the future holds.

The Bible is filled with stories of faithful mothers:

Eve – The first mother, whose legacy began all of humanity.

Sarah – A mother of nations, who believed in God’s promise.

Jochebed – Risked everything to save her son, Moses.

Hannah – Dedicated her child, Samuel, to God’s service.

Elizabeth – Raised John the Baptist to prepare the way for Jesus.

Mary – Carried the Savior of the world, trusting God’s plan.

But there’s one mother often overlooked—Timothy’s mother, Eunice.

The Legacy of Eunice
We first hear of Eunice in Acts 16:1, where we learn that she was a Jewish believer, married to a Greek man. Despite the challenges of a spiritually divided home, she ensured that Timothy grew up knowing God’s Word.

Paul later writes to Timothy:
? "I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice..." (2 Timothy 1:5).
Timothy’s faith was not accidental. It was nurtured by a mother and grandmother who lived out their beliefs. They didn’t just tell him about God—they showed him what it means to follow Him.

Mothers, You Shape the Future
Eunice didn’t know that Timothy would become a great leader in the early church. She just knew she had to be faithful in teaching him the Scriptures.
? “From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation.” (2 Timothy 3:15).
Timothy learned the Word of God at home before he ever learned from Paul. His mother was his first Bible teacher.

What Legacy Are You Leaving?
Your words, actions, and faith shape your child’s future. Ellen White writes:
"The destiny of your children rests in your hands. By a godly example and faithful discipline, you may lead them to Christ and make them instruments in His hands of saving many souls." – Signs of the Times, March 11, 1886

Mothers, you are shaping your children’s eternal destiny.
How to Leave a Faithful Legacy

Live Your Faith Genuinely – Your children see if your faith is real.

Teach the Bible Daily – Church isn’t enough; faith starts at home.

Pray for Your Children – Cover them in prayer, no matter their age.

Be Consistent – What is optional for you will be irrelevant to your kids.

Get Involved in Their Spiritual Life – Encourage Sabbath School, devotionals, and church activities.

At Sharon Church, our Beginner’s Sabbath School class is designed to help young children love God’s Word. Mothers, use every opportunity to plant spiritual seeds in your children’s hearts.

Your Legacy Lasts for Eternity
One day in heaven, your child may raise their crown and say, “Mom, you are the MVP.” Not because of what you gave them materially, but because you led them to Jesus.
Whether you are a young mother, a grandmother, or someone guiding spiritual children—your influence will last for generations.

Will you leave a legacy of faith?

Wars, violence, deception, and natural disasters seem to be increasing every day. Maybe you’ve scrolled through the news and felt overwhelmed. Maybe you’re questioning, “How do I make sense of all this?”

The truth is, Jesus already warned us about these things. In Matthew 24, He told us that before His return, the world would experience wars, famines, persecution, and false teachings that could even deceive God’s elect. Sounds familiar, right?

But history teaches us something powerful: God always prepares His people for crisis.

Lessons from the Past: Blame the Prophet
In 2 Kings 6, the people of Israel were in crisis—under siege, starving, and hopeless. Instead of seeking God, they blamed Elisha, the prophet. The same thing happened to Jeremiah, John the Baptist, and even Jesus—truth-bearers are often attacked when the world is in turmoil.

Fast forward to today: Christians who stand for truth are being ridiculed and labeled. We are told to be quiet, to blend in, to stop talking about sin and obedience. But Jesus said we would be hated for His name's sake.

The Battle is Spiritual
The deception isn’t just about news headlines. It’s a war over what we believe. The enemy is working overtime to make sure Christians doubt God’s Word. That’s why it’s so important to stand firm in the Law of God and the words of His prophets.
If we don’t know Scripture for ourselves, we will fall for the counterfeits. And Jesus warned that in the last days, the deception will be so strong that even the elect could be deceived (Matthew 24:24).

How to Stand on the Promises of God
So, how do we navigate all this? Jesus gave us the answer:

Stay in the Word – The Bible is our guide through the darkness.

Be filled with the Holy Spirit – Only God can help us discern truth from lies.

Hold onto the Law and the Prophets – God speaks through both His commandments and His messengers.

Don’t Fear Persecution – If they persecuted Jesus, they will persecute His followers. Stand firm.

Are You Ready?
The storm is coming. We must decide now where we stand. Will we compromise when things get hard? Or will we cling to the truth, no matter what?

Jesus promised, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20). No matter how dark things get, He is still in control. Stand with Him.

"One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life." - Psalm 27:4

Life is full of distractions. From social media to work stress, our minds are constantly pulled in different directions. It’s easy to lose focus on what truly matters—our relationship with God. But the Bible gives us a powerful reminder through the concept of the sanctuary: God desires to dwell with us, and we are called to dwell with Him.

Psalm 27 and Psalm 84 express a deep longing for God's presence, but today, many struggle with their faith. Some once-devoted believers have walked away, overwhelmed by doubt, hardships, or worldly distractions. Even in the Bible, figures like Demas (2 Timothy 4:10) abandoned their faith for the world. What can keep us anchored? The answer lies in understanding the sanctuary.

In the Old Testament, the sanctuary was the center of worship, symbolizing God’s presence among His people. The Day of Atonement was a time of cleansing and renewal—a reminder that sin is real, but so is redemption. Today, the heavenly sanctuary remains a place of intercession, where Jesus, our High Priest, mediates on our behalf (Hebrews 9:11-12). This truth calls us to focus—not just on avoiding sin, but on deepening our connection with God.

Yet, distractions are everywhere. Even in church, we may find ourselves checking our phones instead of engaging in worship. Satan works tirelessly to divert our minds from Jesus. The book Great Controversy warns us that he uses endless schemes to keep us occupied with everything but God's truth. If we are not intentional, we risk losing sight of what truly matters.

So how do we refocus? It starts with a conscious effort. Prioritize time with God—whether through prayer, Bible study, or simply meditating on His goodness. Eliminate unnecessary distractions and set aside moments to dwell in His presence. Just as the sanctuary rituals pointed to deeper spiritual truths, our daily actions should reflect our desire to be near Him.
God’s sanctuary is not just a place; it is an experience of His love, grace, and guidance.

When we truly seek Him, we will find the peace and purpose our hearts long for. So today, refocus your mind, set your heart on Him, and dwell in the beauty of His presence.

"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." - Ephesians 6:11

The Unseen Battle Around Us
Right now, while you’re scrolling through your phone or sitting comfortably at home, there is a war happening around you. It’s not a war fought with guns and tanks, but a war over your heart, mind, and loyalty. You are not a soldier in this war—you are the prize.

The First War Ever
Before wars between nations, before battles over land and power, there was a war in heaven. Lucifer, a powerful and beautiful angel, decided that being an angel wasn’t enough—he wanted to be God. His pride led to rebellion, and eventually, he and his followers were cast out of heaven (Revelation 12:7-9). But the war didn’t end there. It continued here on Earth when Satan deceived Adam and Eve, bringing sin, suffering, and death into our world (Genesis 3:1-5).

Choosing Your Side
Every day, we make choices that place us on one side or the other. It’s not always obvious. Satan’s tactics are subtle—he normalizes sin through media, culture, and personal compromise. He makes what’s wrong look fun and what’s right seem boring or extreme. He whispers lies that make us doubt God’s goodness, just like he did with Eve in the garden.
But God has not left us defenseless. He has given us His Word, His Spirit, and His angels to guide and protect us. More importantly, He has already won the war. Jesus’ death on the cross was the ultimate victory over Satan’s kingdom (John 3:16). Now, all we have to do is choose which side we want to be on.

The Danger of Neutrality
You might be thinking, "I don’t want to choose sides. I just want to live my life." But here’s the reality: not choosing is choosing. By default, if we are not actively aligning ourselves with God, we are playing into Satan’s hands. Jesus Himself said, "Whoever is not with me is against me" (Matthew 12:30).

How to Stand Firm
So how do we make sure we are on the right side?

Stay Connected to God – Pray daily, study the Bible, and seek His guidance.

Guard Your Mind – Be mindful of what you watch, listen to, and engage in.

Surround Yourself with Truth – Find a community that strengthens your faith.

Share the Good News – Tell others about the love of Jesus and the victory He offers.

The Final Call
At the end of time, there will be only two sides: those who stand with Jesus and those who stand against Him. Which side will you choose? The decision isn’t just about eternity; it affects your peace, joy, and purpose right now.

Don’t wait until it’s too late. Choose your side today.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” – Psalm 23:1

What if the best day of your life wasn’t about promotions, weddings, or dream vacations? What if it was about something deeper—an unshakable peace, a trust so strong that nothing could steal your joy? That’s exactly what Psalm 23 teaches us.

We live in a world that glorifies busyness. Society tells us that the more we do, the more we achieve, the happier we’ll be. But deep down, we know that’s not true. We race through life, worried about finances, relationships, and the future. We sit on the edge of our seats, constantly anxious about what’s next. And yet, Jesus offers us another way. A better way.

David’s words in Psalm 23 remind us that we don’t have to bear the weight of life alone. We don’t have to be in control. The Good Shepherd leads, provides, and cares for us. When we trust Him, we experience peace—real, lasting peace.

So why do we hold on so tightly? Why do we resist rest? Maybe we think surrender means weakness. Maybe we fear that if we don’t hold everything together, it will all fall apart. But Jesus isn’t asking us to give up—He’s inviting us to live differently. To live free.

Think about the last time you truly rested. Not just a weekend off, but real soul-level rest. When was the last time you let go of worry and simply trusted God? That’s what He’s offering you. A life where you don’t just survive, but thrive. A life where you don’t live in scarcity, but in abundance. A life where every day can be your best day—because it’s lived with the Shepherd.

So today, let go of control. Stop worrying about tomorrow. Trust in the Good Shepherd who has never failed you. And rest—truly rest—in His presence.

ReNew: A Call to Worship and Readiness

A total solar eclipse has the world’s attention, but what does the Bible say about signs in the heavens?

“Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” - Revelation 14:7

The world is watching as an extraordinary celestial event—a total solar eclipse—moves across the sky. While some see it as a scientific marvel, others view it through a biblical lens. Could this be a sign from God? What does Scripture say about events like this? And most importantly, how should we respond?

Signs in the Heavens: What Do They Mean?
From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible repeatedly speaks of the heavens as a means of divine communication. “The heavens declare the glory of God” (Psalm 19:1)—they are a testimony to His creative power. In Luke 21:25-26, Jesus warned of signs in the sun, moon, and stars as indicators of the last days. But does this mean every eclipse is a message from God?

While history has recorded eclipses before significant biblical events, true readiness is not found in watching the sky but in preparing our hearts. It is not about predicting dates, but about living in expectation of Christ’s return.

Worship: The Central Issue
More than celestial signs, worship is the defining issue of the last days. Throughout history, God’s people have faced decisions about whom and how they will worship:

Cain and Abel – One sacrifice was accepted, the other rejected.

Elijah and the Prophets of Baal – A showdown on Mount Carmel.

Daniel and Nebuchadnezzar – A call to worship the golden image.

Jesus and the Religious Leaders – A challenge to true worship.

Revelation 13 & 14 – A call to worship the Creator or follow deception.

Our generation is no different. We are invited to fear God, give Him glory, and worship Him as Creator (Revelation 14:7). True worship isn’t about location or tradition—it’s about a heart surrendered to Christ.

ReNew: A Call to Restoration
In the Bible, restoring God’s temple was always linked to spiritual revival. When God’s people returned to Him, they rebuilt what had been neglected. From the tabernacle in the wilderness to the temple in Solomon’s time, to the reforms under Josiah—worship and restoration go hand in hand.

Today, we are called to renew our commitment—to Christ, to His mission, and to His house. Just as past generations gave willingly for God’s sanctuary, we are invited to do the same.

How Do We Respond?

Examine Our Worship – Are we truly giving God our best?

Live with Readiness – Not just watching signs, but walking in faith.

Commit to Restoration – Physically, spiritually, and missionally.

Give Generously – Supporting the work of God’s house and His mission.

A Time to Act
The solar eclipse is a reminder of the precision and order of God’s creation. But more than that, it is a call to recognize His sovereignty. Are we worshiping Him as Creator? Are we preparing our hearts for His return? Are we investing in His kingdom?

God is calling us to ReNew—to align our lives with His purpose, to worship with sincerity, and to be faithful stewards of all He has given us. Let’s respond with willing hearts, just as those before us did.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the assurance of our salvation, the victory over sin and death, and the promise of eternal life.

The Weight of Sin and the Cross
From the moment sin entered the world, humanity was in desperate need of redemption. The burden of guilt, shame, and separation from God was too heavy for us to bear. But in His infinite love, God provided a Savior—the Lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world.

Jesus endured the cruelty of the cross, bearing the weight of our sins. The thorns pressed into His head symbolized the curse of sin. He was pierced for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, yet through His suffering, we find healing (Isaiah 53:5).

The Darkness of the Tomb
As Christ’s lifeless body was placed in the tomb, hope seemed lost. His followers grieved. The enemy appeared victorious. But the silence of the grave was only temporary. Heaven was not finished.

The Miracle of Resurrection Morning
Then came the dawn of the first day of the week. The earth trembled. The stone was rolled away. Angels descended in radiant glory. And in triumphant power, Jesus Christ stepped forth—alive, victorious, and glorified!

His resurrection is the confirmation of every promise God has made. Death could not hold Him. The grave could not keep Him. Sin was conquered once and for all.
What the Resurrection Means for Us Today

Victory Over Sin and Death – Because Jesus lives, we too shall live. His resurrection ensures our future resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:20-22).

Assurance of Salvation – The cross was not the end of the story. Through His resurrection, Christ declares that salvation is complete.

Hope in the Second Coming – Just as He rose, He will return. One day, He will call His children home, and we will be with Him forever (John 14:3).

A Call to Live in His Power – The resurrection is not just an event—it is a daily reality. We are called to walk in newness of life, filled with His Spirit, proclaiming His victory to the world.

The Final Triumph
One day, the heavens will open, and Christ will return in glory. The graves will open, and those who have believed in Him will rise to eternal life. Death will be no more. Sin will be eradicated. And we will forever be with our risen Savior.

So today, we echo the victorious cry of the early believers:
Christ is risen! From a purely scientific standpoint, one could argue that we are mere specks of dust in the grand scheme of things. Yet, the Bible presents an entirely different perspective.
Psalm 8 declares that despite the immensity of creation, God is mindful of us. He not only created humanity but gave us purpose, dominion, and a place in His divine plan. Our value doesn’t come from our size in the universe—it comes from our Creator’s love for us.

The Cross Proves Our Worth
God’s love isn’t just a concept—it was demonstrated through Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:6-8 tells us that Christ, though fully God, humbled Himself to become human and suffered death on the cross for our redemption. Imagine that: the Creator of the vast universe cared so deeply for the dots on the dot that He gave His life for them.
Many struggle with feelings of insignificance, but Jesus’ sacrifice proves otherwise. The cross is God’s ultimate statement: “You are worth everything to me.”

Living in Response to God’s Love
Knowing our worth in Christ should change how we live. Instead of being weighed down by feelings of smallness or insignificance, we should embrace:

Gratitude – Every breath we take is a gift from the God who placed the stars in the sky.

Purpose – If God values us this much, we should seek to fulfill the mission He has for us.

Humility – Jesus washed His disciples’ feet as an act of love and service. In response, we should serve others with the same humility.

Hope – Unlike Carl Sagan’s uncertainty about the afterlife, we have the promise of eternal life in Christ.

A Final Thought
As we reflect on our place in the universe, let us remember: we are not insignificant. We are deeply loved by the God who holds galaxies in His hands yet knows each of us by name. The next time you look up at the night sky, let it remind you of God’s infinite power—and His even greater love for you.

The Perfect Gift: The Holy Spirit in Our Lives

Many of us dream of material blessings, opportunities, or even relationships. But Jesus tells us that the greatest gift we could ever receive is the Holy Spirit.

Understanding the Holy Spirit
Despite being mentioned throughout the Bible, the Holy Spirit remains one of the most misunderstood aspects of God. Some see Him as a force, a mystical presence, or an influence. But the truth is, the Holy Spirit is a person—fully divine, just like the Father and the Son. He was actively involved in creation, He empowered Jesus’ ministry, and He continues to work in believers today.

Why We Need the Holy Spirit
Jesus made it clear that we cannot follow Him effectively without the Holy Spirit. In John 15:26, He calls the Holy Spirit our “Advocate,” sent to testify about Him. The Spirit is not only our guide but also our source of strength, wisdom, and conviction.

The Holy Spirit Teaches and Guides Us

Jesus told His disciples that the Holy Spirit would “lead you into all truth” (John 16:13). When we seek His presence, He helps us understand God’s Word and apply it to our lives.

The Holy Spirit Convicts Us of Sin

Ever felt a strong sense of guilt over something you said or did? That’s the Holy Spirit urging you to turn back to God (John 16:8). Conviction isn’t about shame—it’s about restoration.

The Holy Spirit Strengthens Our Prayers

Romans 8:26-27 tells us that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we don’t know what to pray. Have you ever been in a place where words failed you? The Holy Spirit translates your groanings into prayers that reach the heart of God.

The Holy Spirit Empowers Us to Witness

In Acts 1:8, Jesus promised His disciples power through the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses. The Spirit gives us courage and words to share our faith, even when we feel unqualified.

Asking for the Holy Spirit Daily
One of the biggest mistakes Christians make is treating the Holy Spirit as an occasional guest rather than a daily necessity. Jesus emphasized persistence in asking for the Holy Spirit, comparing it to a child asking for food from a loving father (Luke 11:9-13).
Think of it this way: You don’t eat one big meal and expect to be nourished for a lifetime. Just like we need daily food, we need a daily filling of the Holy Spirit.

Living a Spirit-Filled Life
When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, everything changes. We develop the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). These are not things we produce on our own but gifts that come from a life surrendered to God.

Imagine a church where every believer is filled with the Holy Spirit. Imagine how our homes, schools, and communities would change if we truly lived in the power of God’s Spirit.

The good news? This isn’t just a dream—it’s a promise. If we ask, God will fill us with His Spirit, transforming us into people who reflect His love and truth.

So today, take a moment to pray. Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit—not just once, but every single day.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” - Proverbs 4:23

Have you ever made a decision purely based on emotions, only to regret it later? Maybe you’ve reacted in anger, spoken words you couldn’t take back, or allowed fear to keep you from stepping out in faith. Emotions are powerful, and they can shape our actions in ways we don’t always recognize.

In today’s world, we’re constantly told to “follow your heart.” But what if our heart is leading us away from God? What if our emotions are being manipulated by the enemy to pull us into sin, doubt, or rebellion?

The Danger of Emotional Control
Satan knows that emotions drive most of our decisions. He uses them to create confusion, resentment, and impulsive actions. Think about Eve in the Garden of Eden—her curiosity and desire for wisdom led her to disobey God. Or look at Samson, whose love for Delilah blinded him to her deceit. Their emotions overpowered their logic, leading to devastating consequences.

We see the same struggles today. People make life-altering choices based on fleeting emotions—quitting jobs in anger, ending relationships over temporary disagreements, or even engaging in criminal acts because of momentary frustration. Feelings are unstable, but God's truth is unchanging.

How to Guard Your Heart

Recognize Satan’s Tactics – If your emotions are leading you away from God’s word, ask yourself, “Where is this coming from?” Satan knows your triggers and will use them to stir up negative emotions.

Submit to the Holy Spirit – James 4:7 reminds us, “Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” A quick prayer in moments of frustration can change everything.

Question Your Feelings – Instead of reacting immediately, pause and ask, “Is this emotion helping or harming my relationship with Christ?”

Let Go of Bitterness – Holding onto anger or resentment only gives Satan more control over your heart. Forgiveness is the key to freedom.

Focus on Truth, Not Feelings – Philippians 2:5 tells us, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Our goal should be to think and act as Christ did, regardless of our emotions.

Living in Faith, Not Feelings
God didn’t design us to be ruled by emotions. He calls us to a life of faith, discipline, and trust in Him. Imagine a world where every decision you made was guided by God’s truth rather than fleeting feelings. How different would your relationships be? Your career? Your spiritual walk?

If you’ve been struggling with emotional instability, know that you’re not alone. But also know that God offers a better way. When we surrender our emotions to Him, He transforms our hearts and minds, allowing us to live in peace, purpose, and power.

So next time you feel overwhelmed by emotions, take a step back. Pray. Ask God for wisdom. And remember—your feelings are not truth, but God’s word is.

Steadfast in the Face of Rejection

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." – Romans 12:2

Rejection hurts. Whether it's from friends, family, or society, no one enjoys feeling outcast or misunderstood. As followers of Christ, rejection isn’t just a possibility—it’s a guarantee. Jesus warned us that we would be hated for His name’s sake (Matthew 24:9). And yet, He also called us to endure, to stand firm, and to be lights in the darkness.

A World Growing Cold
We live in a time where hostility toward Christianity is increasing. Reports show that attacks against churches have more than doubled in the past year alone. People vandalize, threaten, and dismiss the faith we hold dear. But this isn’t new—Jesus, the apostles, and countless believers throughout history faced the same challenges.
The rejection we face isn’t just external. Many are drifting away from faith—not because they stopped believing, but because they’ve prioritized other things. Careers, entertainment, and social pressures pull them away from God. It’s a slow fade, but it’s happening all around us.

Standing Strong in Faith
So how do we remain steadfast? The Bible gives us clear instructions:

Be Filled with the Holy Spirit – Jesus told the parable of the wise and foolish virgins in Matthew 25. The wise ones had oil in their lamps, symbolizing a constant connection with the Holy Spirit. If we want to remain steadfast, we need to stay spiritually filled—through prayer, Scripture, and dependence on God.

Use Your God-Given Talents – The parable of the talents reminds us that God has entrusted us with gifts. Are we using them for His kingdom, or have we buried them in the ground? Serving God keeps us connected to His purpose and strengthens our faith.

Love Without Hypocrisy – Romans 12:9-10 calls us to love sincerely, to hate evil, and to cling to what is good. Serving others, especially the least among us, is part of what it means to be a faithful and wise servant.

Resist Conforming to the World – The world will try to squeeze us into its mold, telling us what’s acceptable and what’s not. But Romans 12:2 tells us to renew our minds, to be transformed by God’s truth, not the culture’s ever-changing opinions.

Keep Your Eyes on Eternity – This world is not our home. We are citizens of a heavenly kingdom. Jesus promised that those who endure to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13). That means no matter how difficult things get, we hold on, because the best is yet to come.

The Call to Endure
It’s easy to get discouraged. It’s tempting to give in. But now, more than ever, we need to remain steadfast. Whether the rejection comes from culture, family, or our own doubts, we must anchor ourselves in Christ. The same God who sustained Noah, Daniel, and the early church will sustain us.

So don’t grow weary. Stand firm. Stay faithful. Endure until the end.

But in the midst of the noise, there is one voice that never changes: God's Word. The Bible is not just another book; it's the living, breathing Word of God that has stood the test of time and has the power to transform lives.

Is the Bible Still Relevant Today?
Some say the Bible is outdated. Others claim it’s been changed too much to be trusted. But history tells a different story.

The Dead Sea Scrolls (discovered in 1947) confirmed that the Old Testament we read today is nearly identical to what was written thousands of years ago.

Despite being banned, burned, and attacked, the Bible remains the best-selling book of all time.

No other book has transformed violent people into peacemakers, drug addicts into faithful followers, and sinners into saints.

The Bible is unchanging because God is unchanging. Isaiah 40:8 reminds us, "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever."

Why Do We Struggle to Read the Bible?
Be honest—when was the last time you spent intentional time reading God’s Word? We live in a distracted world, where entertainment and social media consume our time.
Did you know?

It takes about 75 hours to read the entire Bible.

That’s less time than it takes to binge-watch The Office or Grey’s Anatomy.

Just 15 minutes a day is enough to read the Bible in one year.

The problem isn’t lack of time—it’s our priorities.

How to Make the Bible a Daily Habit

Start small – Begin with the Gospels or Psalms. You don’t have to read for hours—just start.

Listen to the Bible – If reading is hard, try an audio Bible during your commute.

Pray before reading – Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your understanding.

Use a plan – Follow a Bible reading plan to stay on track.

Journal your thoughts – Write down what God is teaching you.

God’s Word Will Transform You
The Bible isn’t just for information—it’s for transformation. When you spend time in God’s Word, your heart changes. You begin to see yourself through His eyes, and He gives you the strength to overcome temptation.

Psalm 119:11 says, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."
The enemy knows the power of Scripture, which is why he tries so hard to distract us. Don't let him win. Open your Bible today and let God speak to you.

Like your small acts of kindness, your prayers, or your faithfulness in everyday life don’t make a difference? Think again.
There’s a concept in science called the Butterfly Effect—a theory that says even something as tiny as a butterfly flapping its wings can create ripples that eventually lead to a major event, like a tornado. Whether that’s literally true or not, the idea applies perfectly to our spiritual lives.
Every choice we make, every word we say, and every action we take has an impact on someone else. Even the little things.

One Conversation Can Change Eternity
Take Andrew, for example. In John 1:40-41, he heard Jesus and immediately ran to tell his brother, Peter. Just think—if Andrew had kept it to himself, Peter might never have met Jesus. No Peter means no Pentecost. No Pentecost means no 3,000 people converted in a single day. That one moment of excitement, that one invitation, set off a chain reaction that still impacts the world today.

You Are a Light, Whether You Realize It or Not
Jesus said, "You are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14). Not some people. Not just pastors. YOU.
That means your life has influence, whether you see it or not. The way you treat your family, how you handle tough situations at work, the way you react to hardship—it all sends a message. The only question is: Are you pointing people to Jesus, or away from Him?

The Ripple Effect of Love
The truth is, we rarely get to see the full effect of our faithfulness. We don’t always know when a kind word to a coworker, a smile to a stranger, or a simple “I’ll pray for you” is the seed that will grow into someone’s salvation.
Take Bill Gaither, the famous Christian songwriter. His grandfather’s integrity led a retired banker to sell him land at a ridiculously low price—land that became the foundation for a ministry that has touched millions through music. What if his grandfather had cut corners? What if he hadn’t lived a life that honored God? The ripple effect would have been completely different.

What’s Your Ripple Effect?
Here’s the challenge: Be intentional.

Speak words that uplift, not tear down.

Show kindness even when it’s inconvenient.

Be honest and trustworthy in every situation.

Live in a way that makes Jesus attractive to others.

Your impact might seem small today, but in eternity, it could be life-changing. Someone’s future faith might depend on your faithfulness today.

So, what kind of ripple are you creating?

Whether it's a demanding career, family obligations, or social pressures, being available 24/7 can be exhausting. But while humans struggle under this weight, God never does.
Psalm 121 reminds us that God never sleeps nor slumbers. From the time of Israel’s journey through the wilderness to Jesus’ constant ministry to people, we see a picture of a God who is always present. Even today, Jesus serves as our High Priest in heaven, continuously interceding for us (Hebrews 7:24-25).

Lessons from the Sanctuary
In the Old Testament sanctuary, certain elements were continual (tamid):

The burnt offering was given every day, morning and evening.

The lampstand was always burning, representing God’s presence.

The altar of incense symbolized constant intercession.

The high priest’s garments bore Israel’s names continually before God.

These point forward to Jesus’ unceasing ministry. Just as the sanctuary was always active, so is Christ’s love, mercy, and guidance in our lives today.

Jesus’ Life: The Ultimate Example of Being “On Call”
Jesus knew what it meant to be on call:

He taught and healed even when He was exhausted (Mark 6:31-34).

He was available to those who needed Him most (Matthew 17:14-17).

He endured constant criticism and opposition (Matthew 12:24, John 10:20).

Yet, despite this never-ending demand, Jesus still took time for prayer (Luke 5:16). He understood that the only way to sustain continual service is to stay connected with the Father.

Our Response: Continual Praise
God calls us to respond in the same way He ministers to us—continually:

Psalm 34:1 – “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

1 Thessalonians 5:17 – “Pray without ceasing.”

Philippians 1:6 – He who began a good work in you will complete it.

This doesn’t mean we need to be perfect, but it does mean we should live with a heart turned toward God, trusting in His presence, and staying engaged in His mission.

A Call to Action
Life is overwhelming. You may feel burned out, tired, or even forgotten. But God is still with you. He is your strength, your refuge, and your hope. He is always on call.

Will you take time today to seek Him, trust Him, and praise Him continually?

Wars, deception, global control, natural disasters—it’s all happening. Jesus warned us about these days in Matthew 24, but the question is: Are we truly ready?

The World We Live In
We see governments pushing for more control, institutions making radical changes, and morality shifting in ways unimaginable just a few years ago. Even religious institutions are shifting, as seen in Pope Francis’ recent statements and policies. Meanwhile, Christian groups—like a dedicated team of Seventh-day Adventists handing out The Great Controversy at Davos—are fighting to preserve religious freedom and truth.

What It Means to Be a Faithful & Wise Servant
Jesus told three parables in Matthew 25 to teach us how to live in these last days:

The Wise and Foolish Virgins – Some had oil (the Holy Spirit); others were unprepared. Are we daily seeking a deep relationship with God?

The Talents – Some used what they were given; others wasted it. Are we using our gifts for God’s kingdom?

The Sheep and Goats – Some served the “least of these,” others ignored them. Are we helping those in need?

Why This Matters Today
Many of us are distracted. Social media, entertainment, work—life gets busy. But Jesus’ return will catch many off guard. We are called to be watchful, prayerful, and active in our faith.

How to Stay Ready

Be Filled with the Holy Spirit – Spend daily time in God’s Word and prayer.

Use Your Talents – Find ways to serve in your church and community.

Serve Others – Look for opportunities to help those in need. Join ministries like SALT (Service and Love Together) or similar outreach efforts.

Stay Alert – Keep an eye on prophecy and world events, but don’t live in fear—live in faith!

A Call to Action
Jesus is coming soon. Don’t be like the foolish virgins who waited too long. Don’t be like the one-talent servant who buried his gift. And don’t be like the goats who ignored those in need.

Today, make a commitment to be a faithful and wise servant—filled with the Spirit, using your gifts, and serving others. Because when Jesus comes, we want to be ready.

“For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” – Hebrews 4:15

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the expectations placed on you? Maybe you’re juggling multiple talents, trying to figure out where you truly belong. Perhaps you feel lost, wondering if your abilities even matter.

In today’s world, we admire multi-talented individuals—athletes who excel in multiple sports, musicians who can master various instruments, or professionals who seem to do it all. But the truth is, talent alone does not define us. What matters is how we use our gifts and whether we remain connected to our Creator.

Philip Weyaha, a Christian blogger, shared his struggle with being multi-talented. He wondered whether his many abilities were a blessing or a burden. His conclusion? It’s not about how many talents you have—it’s about your attitude and responsibility toward them. Jesus echoed this in His parable of the talents (Matthew 25), teaching that faithfulness is more important than quantity.

But what if you feel like you have no special talents? The world often focuses on outward abilities, but God looks at the heart. Helen Keller, despite being blind and deaf, became a beacon of hope. George Washington Carver, born into slavery, changed agriculture forever. And Jesus Himself, though divine, humbled Himself as a servant for humanity’s salvation.

Jesus is our High Priest, our sacrifice, and our intercessor. His ministry didn’t end at the cross—He continues to mediate for us in heaven. This is a crucial truth we sometimes overlook. As Hebrews 7:25 reminds us, “He always lives to make intercession for them.”

So, what does this mean for you? It means you don’t have to carry the weight of your talents or struggles alone. Jesus is your lifeline. When life feels overwhelming, hold on to Him. When doubt creeps in, trust in His purpose. When you feel inadequate, remember that His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

It’s not about what you can do—it’s about what Jesus has already done. He is your All in All. Will you hold fast to Him today?

The Beauty of Sacrifice: More Than Just an Ancient Ritual

God’s sacrifice is multifaceted, personal, and transformational. Whether you’ve sinned intentionally or unintentionally, Jesus' sacrifice covers it all. The question isn’t if He loves you, but will you accept His love? Come to Him today.

“I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” – John 12:32

Have you ever stopped to think about what sacrifice really means? In today's world, we often associate it with giving up something valuable—whether it’s our time, money, or comfort—for the sake of something greater. But when we look at God’s idea of sacrifice, we see something even more profound: a love so deep that it cost everything.

The Many Dimensions of Sacrifice
In the Old Testament, the sanctuary system was built around sacrifices—burnt offerings, grain offerings, peace offerings, and sin offerings. But why did God require these? Why so much blood, fire, and ritual? Was it just about rules, or was there something deeper?
The answer is found in Jesus. Every sacrifice pointed to Him—the ultimate Lamb of God, who would take away the sins of the world (John 1:29).

The Burnt Offering represented total devotion. Jesus gave Himself completely for us.

The Grain Offering symbolized gratitude and provision. Jesus is the Bread of Life (John 6:35).

The Peace Offering celebrated reconciliation. Through Jesus, we have peace with God (Romans 5:1).

The Sin Offering was mandatory because sin has a cost. Jesus became sin for us, so we could be made righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Each one highlights a different aspect of God’s love and grace.

What Does This Mean for Us?
It’s easy to feel unworthy or too far gone to be loved by God. Maybe you’ve messed up—intentionally or unintentionally. The enemy loves to whisper, “You’re not good enough. You’ve gone too far.” But the truth?

Jesus’ sacrifice is bigger than your sin.

Whether your sins are intentional like David’s (with Bathsheba) or unintentional like Israel’s (at the golden calf), God offers grace. He doesn't just forgive—He transforms.
When we truly behold His sacrifice, something happens inside of us. Our hearts soften, our minds change, and we begin to desire Him more than the things of this world.

Your Response: Come to the Altar
If you feel distant from God, remember: His arms are open. You don’t have to clean yourself up first. Come as you are, and let His sacrifice cover you. Let His grace transform you.

Take a moment today to reflect on what Jesus has done for you.

Pray: “Lord, I come to You just as I am. Thank You for Your sacrifice. Change my heart and make me Yours.”

When we behold the beauty of His sacrifice, we can’t help but be drawn to Him.

But for many, the word father brings up pain, absence, or disappointment. Some of us grew up with amazing dads, while others had fathers who were never there—or worse, were present but emotionally distant or hurtful.

So when we hear that God is our Father, what do we do with that?

Distorted Views of God
The world has given us so many different images of God. Some see Him as an angry judge waiting to punish. Others think He’s too distant to care. And some imagine Him like an old grandpa—there, but not really doing much.
Jesus came to change all of that. When His disciples asked Him how to pray, He didn’t say, “Oh, Mighty King of the Universe” or “Most Powerful Creator of All”. Instead, He started with two simple words: “Our Father.”

What If God Is More Than You Thought?
Imagine the best kind of father—one who is patient, kind, and always there for you. That’s who God is, and even more. The Bible says He knew you before you were even born (Jeremiah 1:5). It says nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39). It says He loves you so much that He gave His Son for you (John 3:16).
But let’s be real—if you’ve never experienced a loving father on earth, it’s hard to imagine one in heaven. And that’s exactly what Satan wants. He knows that if he can mess up your view of your earthly father, he can distort your view of God.

Breaking the Cycle
The good news? God is not a bigger version of your dad—He’s the perfect version of what a father should be. He’s the one you’ve always longed for. And when you begin to see Him for who He really is, everything changes.
Your prayers stop feeling empty. Your struggles stop feeling like you're facing them alone. Your faith stands on solid ground.

So, Who Is God to You?
If you’ve never experienced the love of a real father, it’s time to meet the one who’s been loving you all along.
